Our first ever Gumbo Fest at CoastAL Orange Beach was a celebration of incredible food, community spirit, and a shared love for the Gulf Coast. With breathtaking views and live music from Big Al & The Heavyweights setting the vibe, the event truly came alive as families, friends, and gumbo enthusiasts gathered to savor the best gumbo this area has to offer.

A big round of applause goes to the winners:

3rd Place – Trainwreck Cooking

People's Choice - Krewe of Gumbeaux


Thanks to the incredible turnout and the enthusiastic support of our 20 competing teams, we raised $2,500 for a scholarship supporting a Baldwin County student pursuing a career in hospitality. This donation will help a local student on their journey into the field we all know and love, making Gumbo Fest a celebration not only of our favorite Southern dish but also of the next generation of culinary talent.


We couldn’t be more grateful to everyone who came out to support the festival and our local community. With such an amazing turnout, delicious food, and unbeatable coastal views, we can’t wait to do it all again next year!
